If you move your head and look at the cursor position relative to the pen at the edges from directly above, it should be directly under the pen, even if it looked completely off when viewing it from the side. If you keep your head in one position and only move the pen, the cursor will probably look way off toward the edges, but that's because you're looking at it from the side. I'm honestly not sure what type of "parallax" you're talking about. It's the same with every alternative although some don't even have the 9-point calibration option. Those are the only ways you can calibrate alternative displays at the moment. Too much trouble and frustration already! Reply I know I could change things to accommodate the situation, but I just don't think it will be worth it to me. Some issues may be due to my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti graphics adapter. Not OK to have a smaller primary monitor, and then have that much unusable real estate. I can avoid the edges while drawing, but find this horrible for menus or opening desktop icons, etc. The parallax at the edges of my tablet varies from 1/2" to 3/4". The pen/stylus gets "locked" to the primary monitor: I can't use the tablet monitor at all if my Dell monitor is primary.
I have to use the XP-Pen as the primary monitor in order to extend my desktop across both monitors because
SUMMARY the XP drivers are now installed, and I can "configure" the pen/stylus. This starts the XP pen&tablet configuration s/w (now pinned to my task bar!) This included downloading the latest drivers from their site, NOT using the CD.Īfter this I did not see the XP-Pen tablet icon, BUT I ran Plaunch.exe (file found in XP-Pen folder under Program Files (X86)) I followed a page of detailed instructions from XP-Pen support: "uninstall this, do this, reboot, do that, reboot, etc." I assume/hope this is the XP-Pen driver, but I don't know how to verify this (it shows "unavailable" for vendor name). AFTER installing the XP-Pen drivers downloaded from their site, I have one match for "tablet": Tablet Driver V8.0 with no other info. In Windows Apps & Features I had no match "pen" or "tablet" or "ink". I tried to cover all bases uninstalling again after talking to XP-Pen support. I thought I uninstalled or disabled all old pen/tablet s/w after removing my Monoprice tablet, based on the info I could find. I want to be sure that I really did disable everything: in Windows Settings now I see all these options for the pen that I would have expected to be grayed out.
